This sculpture depicts a self-portrait of a fisherman in South China. While the time period of this sculpture takes place in the 19th century, this fishing technique has been used for over a thousand years.

"Visual Tales", a collaborative sculptural installation at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Orlando, FL.
The Four Dragons is a visual retelling of Chinese folklore from the Xia Dynasty. It was constructed and painted by myself and four other team members over the process of two months. I utilized Procreate and Adobe Illustrate to design and prepare all the characters which were later sent off to the carpentry department to laser cut the sculpture pieces. Lastly, all pieces were colored using advanced color theory and then assembled with nails and wood glue. The sculpture went to the exhibition in April of 2022.
